The Vikings didn't see any reason to go for the win yesterday.

I didn't see any reason to watch it.

It was just like a preseason game.

You need a running attack.

You can't have your two best backs injured and expect to win.

I couldn't tell if the Vikings defense was really good or if San Diego's offense was really bad, though I'm guessing it was more of the Chargers shooting themselves in the foot time and time again with those turnovers than it was anything different the Vikings defense was doing.

The worst news is that Dalvin Cook had a shoulder injury and may be out awhile.

Fun to watch. Still very much in the hunt for a playoff spot.

The Packers and Bears already beat us this season, so the next two weeks are not a given by any means.

Baseball got off to a spendy start yesterday.

Stephen Strasburg inked a 7-year deal with the Nationals for $36 million a year.

And then the Yankees signed Gerrit Cole to a 9-year deal worth $324 million. Less per year but a far bigger contract.

Baseball money. It's reserved for the pitchers, now.

And it's a lot!

It wasn't the overwhelming slaughter everyone thought it should be, but it was good ball control and Detroit didn't score until the end.

I'll take a consistent win over a nail-biter any day.

I normally don't comment on regular Wolves' losses any more, but last night?

They basically lost because a player didn't notice his jersey wasn't tucked fully in.

Seriously.

I think I'm done with the NBA.
