Okay, it was just Northwestern, but it was at Northwestern, and no matter how bad they are this year, at least the Gophers didn't have a major breakdown after last week's loss.

Legendary Vikings place kicker AND inventor of the Nerf Football, Fred Cox has passed away.

He was 80.

After trying to watch that first half yesterday, and then turning the game off in absolute disgust, I was surprised as anybody when I checked the results at 3:30.

Horrible first half. Worst of the season.

First NFL comeback in 100 games (being down by at least 20 to 0) to actually win.

Wow. Cousins unleashed is an incredible thing to watch. Even watching the 12 minute summary of the game on Youtube after it was all over was difficult to watch. That last defensive series near the goal line? Whoa!

But they did it.

Unbelievable.

8-3 record.
