Baseball

With the Twins held hostage by winter, I figure I'd talk a little about Bartolo Colon.

The Twins got the biggest, oldest pitcher in baseball last year as a stop-gap. I questioned the decision, but his last few starts last year were spectacular. He's pitching for the Rangers this year, and had a perfect game going into the eighth inning against Justin Verlander and the Astros Sunday night on ESPN.

Neither stater got the win as the game went 10 innings.

But Colon this year? 1.45 ERA in 18 innings so far. Still throwing primarily fastballs.

He'll wear out someday. Not just yet, though.

Not just yet.
