Doctor Who Disappoints

The greatest television show in history is officially dead.

The new Doctor Who series started in 2005, and though it started out a hint cheap and cartoony, it  became the best plotted, best written, best acted show of all time. And considering the  major villains of the series were guys in metal suits or guys in metal cans, that's saying an awful lot.

Oh, the show is still on, but they just finished up this season's run with a holiday special last night that was truly awful, just like every other show this season.

They got a new executive producer/show runner this season with a whole new stable of writers, and all they really proved is that they did not want to continue the same path.

It's now a show that resembles a mix between Scooby Doo and the Magic School Bus with a little bit of Little House on the Prairie drama thrown in.

Doctor Who is now a kindergarten teacher who let's her class solve all their problems while coming up with no real solutions of her own. The problem is that she's dealing with adults not children. One is even an elderly grand father, and it's just painful to watch.

I gave it a whole season. I now quit.

It's a different show. It just happens to have the same name.

That's the biggest crime of all.
