The season is now past the midway point. The Twins are on pace for a 74-88 record. My guess is that they will get worse as the the season continues so that they have far more losses than projected.
And that the 37,000 July 4th attendance from yesterday against the Yankees will be a distant memory by season's end.
The end of an era in Minnesota.
Just a note: Today's post-game show after the game will feature Sleepy Eye Minnesota hosting Babe Ruth at a game in the Sleepy Eye Ball Park back in the day. I saw John Mielke in a quick preview during yesterday's broadcast, I can't give you an exact time, but somewhere between 3:30 and 6:00 tonight on FSN is a good estimate.
