Hughes is now "0 for April." He left the game after the fifth with a hip flexor injury. The Twins "defense" made a mockery of the game at that point. And all the goodwill the team was building on offense yesterday went out the window. It's hard to write about.
I blame Cranky Curtis. He had hope. And he spoke out loud about that hope while the Twins were up 7-3. I warned him...when he speaks of hope things NEVER end well. Sigh.

ReplyDeleteI got to hear the 3-run homer on my phone through my MLB app while waiting at Alyssa's track meet. Very disappointing listening to hear the last at bat a couple hours later...
