He was the most offensive-minded coach the Vikings ever had. And he knew talent.
He just made poor decisions in crucial playoff situations.
I never appreciated him as a coach much as I should have. Over time the Vikings would have gotten better with him. His replacements were mostly horrible. In hindsight, I saw how good he was.
