The Twins have been on a minor roll as of late. And it's been primarily starting pitching that's making the difference. Even in the recent Cleveland series that we lost, the starting pitch was good in two of the three games.
Yesterday, it was Ervin Santana giving up just one run in seven innings. And a couple more well-timed late-inning home runs by Kepler and Rosario that made the difference. Even Mauer hit a first inning homer. The Twins have been watchable all month.
