The Twins are among the leagues leaders in basically all offensive categories since June 25th. They're actually first in several, including runs and slugging percentage. They are such a different team to watch.
But I still had to turn the game off last night.
They were up 8-0, just cruising, when BAM, it was suddenly 8-6 and Gibson couldn't get anybody out in the 5th. Relief was good. The homers kept flying, and the Twins managed to hang on for the win.
But I couldn't sit through what could have been a collapse of epic proportions. I'm just glad they won.
