MVP

As good as Madison Bumgarner was in the post season, especially the World Series, that's how good Clayton Kershaw was the whole season for the Los Angeles Dodgers, It got him a Cy Young Award on Wednesday AND a National League MVP Award yesterday. How rare is receiving BOTH awards?

Well, Bob Gibson was the last National League pitcher to do that...back in 1968.

That's Kershaw's THIRD Cy Young Award. He's 26.

Look at these stats.

There was a 41 consecutive scoreless  innings streak in there as well this year.
