Michael Cuddyer Retiring

At 36, Michael Cuddyer is calling it a career. Last year he saw limited time playing for the Mets and ended up with career lows in all of his stats. He had one year remaining on his contract but it's thought the Mets may have bought out that last year as incentive to Michael.

He had a good 15 years.

In Twins news: Miguel Sano has left his winter league team to start a conditioning program to get him ready for the outfield. He's currently 268. The Twins want him at 260 or less come spring.

Maybe they really are going to do this!
