I wasn't really rooting for anyone, so I didn't mind the outcome.

Cook! 98 yards rushing. 73 yards receiving.
Diggs! 143 yards on 7 catches.
Defense! 3 field goals.

Game? Sloppy and sluggish. Like they hadn't got a whole week of practice and rest in.

6-2 is a great start to the season.

Cousins!! Three great passing games in a row. (10 TDs, just 1 INT in that time)
Diggs!! Another great day receiving, 142 yards.
Dalvin Cook!! 142 yards rushing.

Sigh? The defense gave up a lot of yards and a lot of points.

Cousins was great! That interception was a perfectly thrown bullet. Diggs blew it.

Diggs! Fantastic day, marred only by the interception. THREE TD receptions.

Defense! Some are complaining that they could have done better. Against that offensive attack? They did just fine.

Let's face it. Today's game against Philly, also 3-2, will go a long way in showing if the Vikings are good, or just another average football team.

At this point in the season 4-2 will look WAY better than 3-3.

There comes a time where Cousins must prove himself consistent. And that's something he's never done in a purple uniform.

Some would say he never has, and I wouldn't argue with that statement, either.

16 straight playoff losses.

Great season. Lousy, but expected finish.

Football is so weird. We clubbed Oakland. The Bears clubbed us. Oakland beat the Bears yesterday.

Oh, and New England is still undefeated.

Twins play what is probably their last game of the season tonight. I'm not pessimistic. I'm realistic.

I'm glad the game wasn't broadcast locally. I would have turned it off several times.

The rookie in the white glasses pitches tonight.

Everybody knows he's our last chance.

Playoffs!

I don't expect the Twins to beat the Yankees.

We aren't a bad team, we just aren't a great team.

We were the best team in baseball the first 2 1/2 months of the season. Four starters were fantastic and Pineda was starting to come around, and just as Pineda became our ace, he got suspended for using an over the counter dieting drug.

The starting staff fell apart after that. Odorizzi became more reliable as Berrios lost all semblance of control. We were mired in mediocrity.

As of late, Berrios has gotten better. Odorizzi is still good, but off a hair. And the man with the white glasses is showing real potential. IF Berrios comes through tonight, I'll change my opinion on our chances. As of right now, I haven't even seen the Twins final playoff roster.

A bullpen with the best ERA in the American League since mid August keeps me hopeful. As do the Bombas. But starting pitching gets you farther in the playoffs than home run hitters.

And, as usual for the Twins, that's our biggest question mark.
