Wolves Beat One Of the Big Boys!

Pekovic had 30, Love 29, Martin 22 and the Wolves at one time had a 30-plus point lead, outscoring Portland 42-12 during a run into the second quarter.

Minnesota went on to top conference leading Portland 120-109. Tonight it was Portland that was tired from so many recent games and it was the Wolves that were rested. It made a difference. Kevin Love who rested much of the second half, nearly had a triple double by halftime. He ended the night one assist short.

One game does not a season make, but the upsets have been there more than once this year. I'm still watching and still enjoying.

It's hard not to.
