Pitching

This weekend, baseball had some nice moments. Cole Hamels, one of baseball's best, tossed a no-hitter against the Cubs. What's interesting is that the Phillies are having such a bad season this year that Hamels is being actively talked about as trade bait. It's also kind of cool that the Cubs (the team that got no-hit) had not had a no-hitter pitched against them since 1965, when Sandy Koufax pitched a perfect game against them. That was the longest streak of not being no-hit in baseball history, over 7,000 games!

Also Zach Grienke had his 45 2/3 inning streak of no runs allowed streak snapped. His ERA this season is still a microscopic 1.37. Pitchers are so dominant this season.
