While the Twins were busy getting beat by the Yankees, the Royals decided to acquire the ace of the Reds pitching staff, Johnny Cueto.
KC is setting themselves up as the World Series favorite. The Twins? Well, they're still having problems with the good teams.
I'm still enjoying the unexpectedly good season, but reality is starting to stare Twins fans in the face. They are pretty good this year. They just aren't great. Worth watching much of the time, but not a division leader.
I guess I'll have to settle.
Which is still way better than the last 5 years, so it's not all bad.
