Vikings

The Vikings are taking athletes in the draft.

Their first pick was a running back who was converted to linebacker for one year. In that one year, he managed 13 1/2 sacks.

Their third pick was a cornerback/kick returning/quarterback who the Vikings see as a running back. He's incredibly strong (32 consecutive bench presses at 225 pounds). He's incredibly quick (his ability to make quick cuts at combines reminded everyone of Darren Sproles) and he's fast ( he may give Webb and Peterson a run for their money as the fastest Vikings player ever) and the Vikings think he could play well wherever they decide to play him. Did I mention he has a 40 inch vertical jump?

I like the new coach's idea of who you should have on your team. GREAT athletes with fantastic coaching and training should give you unbelievably great football players.

I'm willing to see how all that shakes out.

Maybe they'll even figure out what to do with Joe Webb.
