NCAA Tournament

With 10 teams left you can't help but notice that most are number one and two seeds.

That means only one team (Syracuse or Gonzaga) not in the top 28 will make the elite eight.

In other words, most of those extra teams added to the original 68 were just filler. Just like they are every year.

I'm rooting for both Indiana and Wisconsin to make the final four this weekend, just because they're from the Big Ten. The Gophers finished next to last in the conference this year with a 2-16 conference record, but Indiana had the best record and I'd like to see them or Wisconsin make a good showing in the tournament. Maryland, another Big Ten team, got eliminated last night from the coming elite eight by Kansas.
