Sano had no balls hit to him in right in the first game this season. Yesterday, he misplayed a fly ball that led to three runs when it went over his head. Not a routine play according to observers, but also the kind of ball a major leaguer needs to catch. We don't see much highlights of these games in the great white north, so I don't have an opinion myself. Most say Sano will at best look ugly while he learns the position.
Nolasco, trying to earn a spot in the Twins rotation, didn't appreciate the three runs scoring, especially since this was Boston playing their scrub team.
This is the reality of spring ball.
