Santana

Danny Santana is not going to be the shortstop for the Twins this year. Eduardo Escobar earned that job last year. Santana, who is out of options, must make the roster as a utility guy if he's going to make it at all. In the three spring games so far he has played FOUR positions, subbing late for center and right in the first two games, and splitting his time between third and second in yesterday's 2-2 tie with the Pirates.

IF he could play well at all of these positions it would sure make it easier for the Twins to keep him. Will all of this switching around bother his hitting? Well, he already has a home run this spring, which is one more than Sano and Park combined...
