Picture of the Day

This illustrates what's wrong with  today's game of baseball more than anything. The woman in front ducking and slurping soda? That's a fan. She's paying attention. The fan who thinks he's a photographer with an expensive camera? He's safe, too because at least he's watching the game while taking photos.

But then you have the boy on his phone not paying a lick of attention. If not for Dad, that kid's in the hospital undergoing facial reconstruction surgery, or worse. The Dad gets points for the save, but he better not let his kid use his phone at games any more.

If something would have happened, everybody would have been talking about the tragic "accident."

Just like car "accidents"caused by cell phone use. Pay attention out there. Some things are dangerous when used incorrectly. And some kids never learn.
