Thompson, Curry Combine For 15-25 From Three-Point Land

And the Warriors had 81 points at halftime. Klay Thompson joined Curry as the only other player in league history to make 200 3s in four straight seasons. Curry now has 311 this year.

What's strange is that Portland actually made more three-point plays as a team last night than Golden State did (19-18). The combined 37 threes is also an NBA record.

For everyone else, these numbers are historic. The Warriors think of it as just another Friday night. Stephen Curry suggested this week that their remaining home games should start earlier so that more fans could get the chance to see them play. That's the same thing I suggested earlier this season. I'd vote for that. Right now their games finish at 1a.m. on the East Coast and around midnight for fans in the Midwest.

The NBA's biggest fans are kids, and those times are just too late. Old codgers need their sleep as well. Most sports leagues have the same problem, but this is the first time a major superstar has suggested the idea publicly.

I like Curry even more now.
