I'd like to be excited about what I saw last night in the Vikings blowout win of Buffalo. Ponder was great. The receivers were great. The running game was dominant and Joe Webb was running wild.
The problem is that they were doing this against Buffalo, a team with the worst defense in football last year.
So instead, I'n now cautiously optimistic that last week was the "fluke" and that from now on the Vikngs will be a fun team to watch this season.
If nothing else, the Vikings defense looked much better last night as well.
I can now look forward to at least the next Vikings game. We'll take it from there.
The Twins, on the other hand...
