The last two U.S. games of the The World Cup averaged higher viewership than the latest NBA Finals games or World Series games.
Yet I know no one who watched either for more than a few minutes other than me. (The last half of the Portugal game was fun until the ending. It won't cause me to watch more soccer in the future, that's for sure. I skipped the Belgian game entirely because of the ending of the Portugal game.)
The times? They are a changin'.
The future? NFL Football and...
...the world's version of football.
