A&M

I thinks it's funny. Johnny Manziel established himself as one of the best QBs in college football history over the last two seasons at Texas A&M. YET last night, in his very FIRST game as a starter for A&M, new starter Kevin Sumlin broke Manziel's record of most passing yards in a single game (511) in a rout of a top 10 team (South Carolina).

The hits, they just keep on coming. And South Carolina doesn't have to worry about that early season rout. The NEW college bowl system says they can now lose and still be eligible for the National Championship later this season.

In effect, the game meant NOTHING. That's why I didn't watch it. College football has lost its allure for me. I wonder how long before others realize that, like college basketball, none of the games matter any more?

Except the last one.

You heard it here first, and for several years now.
