Sam Deduno was very good last night. He threw strikes and he got people out. He ended up with just two walks in his six innings while giving the Twins their third quality start in a row.
And Dozier, what do you say about Dozier? Yet another home run, this time the 3-run variety, and the Twins pull off a 4-3 win.
All I can say is, that without Dozier's bat, the Twins would be nowhere near .500.
Are the Twins a good team? Time will tell. Gardy made some major mistakes early this season, and I'm still not sure Hicks is a major league ballplayer. But right now, I look forward to their games.
Right now, that's good enough for me.
