Or Kurt Suzuki?
Hughes pitched seven plus innings last night and the only run that KC scored was off a Suzuki throwing error. Suzuki more than made up for that rare error with his bat, with two RBI in the seventh and a home run in the eighth.
I almost felt sorry for KC with the Tigers beating Seattle, but it sure was good seeing the Twins win.
Hughes and Suzuki sure made the game worth watching. I missed the first half because of the annual Corn Days parade in Sleepy Eye. I'm just glad that everything good happened in the later innings.
