Well that was certainly a very unimpressive debut.
4 earned runs in just two innings, is not what the doctor ordered as the Twins once again struggled to get any runs themselves. Other than a couple of high-scoring blowouts in the last month, the problem with the Twins has not been pitching, it's been hitting.
We aren't very good at getting runs across the plate. And when you don't score, you don't win.
Other teams are simply better than the Twins. Oakland is one of the elite teams in the league and we just don't match up well with them.
Just waiting for this season to be over.
