Twins

So what happens when the best team in baseball with the recently acquired best pitcher in baseball (for the last month) face a tired Minnesota Twins team playing on Thursday instead of getting a day off?

Pretty much what you'd expect. Lester had a perfect game going against the Twins through five. And the Twins only managed three balls out of the infield all day.

The result was another good pitching performance by the Twins wasted as we lost 3-0.

Thankfully, I was visiting with my brother and his family, eating fresh baked cookies, and missed the entire thing.

A conversation about an old worm experiment that went horribly awry was way better than watching yet another Twins loss.

More brothers and more conversations coming up this afternoon.

Can't wait.
