Kevin Durant Offered $265 Million Over Ten Years

By Under Armour for being a spokesman for the sportswear giant.

Nike, his current sponsor, is giving him $20 million a year and has the right to match that offer to retain his services.

In either case, he will make more from one advertiser than he can from any team including Oklahoma.

There are, of course, other sponsors seeking deals with him as well, from shavers and mobile phones to soft drink companies.

Michael Jordan proved years ago that your NBA deal can be just a fraction of what you really make. Kevin Durant is going to take that figure to a whole new level. LeBron James is going to have some major competition from advertising revenue from now on.

Kevin Love wants some of that money too. Just another reason he left Minnesota and its losing ways. Your team has to be good for you to make real money. Salary is just a starting point.
