Gibson!!!!!!

I sure have been using A LOT of exclamation points lately. Great defense, including a nice catch by Torii, superb pitching, and heads up base running by the Man Mountain (!?!) known only as Vargas, produced the only run, and one of the coolest wins of the season.

More good news?  Stauffer, who has been worthless the whole season, has went on the disabled list. I don't wish ill-will on anyone, but the Twins weren't going to admit they made a mistake in signing him by taking him off the roster, so the situation took care of itself. With Fien on the DL as well, the Twins have room for the returning Nolasco and Duensing, both back from the DL.

The Twins have also decided that Ryan Pressly is a greater asset than Caleb Thielbar. As a result Caleb is going back to Rochester to make room for Ryan.

I'm a bit bummed that Tommy Milone is heading to Rochester, too, because his past record has been better than either Nolasco or Pelfrey. But LATELY he has stunk up the place, and something had to give. And the other guys have less options in their contracts.

He's probably only a pitching injury away from being called back, though. Those injuries just won't stop...
