The Draft

Winston and Mariota went one and two last night, as expected. The Vikings took a 6 foot cornerback, Trae Waynes, from Michigan State in round one. He is the highest-drafted defensive back in the team's history. This continues the trend that the Vikings started in 2012 with Harrison Smith. EIGHT of their last 30 draft picks have been defensive backs.

On a sadder note, the Vikings still say they refuse to trade the child-beater who shall remain nameless.

I won't be able to enjoy the Vikings until he's gone. No matter what they do.
