Three didn't vote for Griffey out of approximately 450 writers. He'll be the top percentage for awhile. There's no one else like Griffey to vote for.

What surprised me the most is that Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds, even with potentially tainted pasts, got around 45% of the vote. Both have admitted steroid use, but both have said they were unaware of their trainer giving it to them until after the fact. At least for those two, the writers are getting more sympathetic.
