Well, THAT Was Disappointing

The Vikings used the cold to totally dominate the first three quarters of yesterday's game. They didn't score much but they scored. The cumulative affect of three plays in the fourth quarter changed the outcome of the game.

1) The ball that got away from Wilson that inexplicably turned into a huge play.
2) The Peterson Fumble
3) The missed Field Goal at the end.

If any ONE of those plays had went differently, the Vikings still would have won.

As it is, I didn't even blink when Walsh missed that last kick. My wife and I have been groomed by years of disappointing Minnesota sports to expect this sort of thing.

We both said, before the attempt, that he was going to miss, knowing full well that he would.

WE ultimately knew that with the season on the line that Adrian Peterson would fumble the ball somehow and that Walsh would would miss a short, easy kick. That's just what they do.

The Good News? My Packers won. They reverted back to expected form as well. With the season on the line, they did what they do best and are known for as well. They became the winners they knew they are.

The Vikings? Let's just say they're from Minnesota and leave it at that.
