College Basketball

My nephew, Carter, is 6 foot 10 and plays for Northern State. They played Minnesota State in Mankato last night and even though Northern State lost in double overtime, it was an amazing game.

The final score? 119-115!!!! It seemed like neither team could miss and that includes the three-point attempts. This side of the Golden State Warriors, I've never seen so many players shooting so incredibly well. Checking the box score this morning, I noticed Carter's team was shooting 80% (8-10) from 3-point territory in the second half. That stat includes a 3-pointer by Carter  at the end of regulation that sent the game into its first OT.

I didn't know small colleges could do this. It was absolutely mind-blowing.
