Twins got whomped, moving on...
The T-Wolves decided the number 18 pick in the draft wasn't that big a deal so instead of paying him a guaranteed 3-year deal, they decided to trade that pick for an established player who will make much less money, The player? Chase Budinger. He has a sweet 3-point shot and was athletic enough to be in the slam dunk competition last year. I don't mind the strategy.
As bad as the Twins have played this year, at least we are not the Dodgers. The Giants not only swept them three games straight, they shut the Dodgers out for all three games as well. The Giants have some great pitching. Even Tom Lincecum is throwing like his old self again.
And how about those Cubs? The Mets beat them 17-1 yesterday. The Twins getting beat 12-5 doesn't sound nearly as bad now.
