As I predicted, the Twins did not sign Matt Garza. You only have so much space on a major league roster, and Garza came to the agreeable free agent game too late. The Twins are still looking for position players, but even that search looks like it is done for the year.
The Twins announced yesterday that they would let Andrew Albers go to Korea this coming season. He will make more money there this year than in his entire career so far. The Twins weren't going to hold him back and even with unexpected injuries, you can only use so many starters. He was not in their long-term plans.
