Twins win! Twins win! Twins win!
The sad streak is finally over. P.J. accomplished what no starter has done for the Twins in ten straight tries. He got the win. Six innings of work produced only two earned runs.
Mauer got hot again. This time three hits including a homerun. At the same time, even though the Twins scored three runs in the first, they didn't score again in the game. That still does not bode well for the coming days.
One win. I'll take it. It may be awhile before we see another.
