Harrelson

As an announcer, there's no bigger home team supporter than Ken Harrelson. If you ever watch a White Sox game on WGN when they go against YOUR team, he'll drive you nuts as he roots for the Sox.

But he also likes to call them as he sees them. Case in point? Harrelson was quick to point out  how bad the home plate umpire was in yesterday's Sox game. He became livid when both catcher A. J. Pierzynski and manager Robin Ventura were tossed yesterday for arguing the umpire's strike zone.

He called the umpire "absolutely brutal." And also called him "terrible." He also let the fans know that film of this game will go back to the league office to show how bad he is.

The problem is, as an employee of the White Sox, Harrelson is also a representative of the league. The league does not allow this kind of treatment by it's announcers.

Harrelson will be punished for this "infraction of protocol" in some way.

I just hope he keeps calling them as he sees them until he gets fired. That's who Harrelson is and he should not change for anybody.
