I admit I turned it off early and was completely shocked when I turned back at 9:25 last night to see the game was still going on AND that the Twins had taken the lead. We were watching the balance beam and floor exercise at the Olympics after the Twins got off to such a horrible start.
Revere extended his hitting streak to 21 and Doumit went 3-5 to raise his average to .295. Cleveland lost their 11th straight and the Twins are now just ONE game behind them in the standings.
One more game in the series. I hoping to see it this afternoon.
