You KNOW it's a slow sports day when I comment on this sad item.
A woman, we'll just call her Stupid for the rest of this article, has sued the Cowboys for injuries based on a "bench-warming incident."
The Cowboys have black marble benches OUTSIDE their stadium that people can sit on if they wish. Stupid sat on one too long and received burns so bad that she suffered mental anguish, physical pain, and disfigurement. (!?)
Stupid said she didn't realize the bench was that hot WHILE SHE WAS SITTING on it and that the Cowboys should have posted WARNING SIGNS letting people know that the bench would be too hot to sit on when the 100 degree sun was beating on it.
The Cowboys declined comment.
I have no problem making a comment, however.
Stupid is as Stupid does.
