Pettitte was sharp last night and Liam Hendriks still pitches like a rookie. The game really means nothing to the Twins at this point and the Yankees are battling for a division title. They are focused and driven. The Twins are thinking about heading to warmer climes for the winter and playing some golf.
It showed. Mauer got just ONE hit so he fell further behind in the batting race.
