Thoughts

Do you remember that guy in the Olympics that ran with prosthetic legs?

He got BEAT in the Paralympics yesterday by a Brazilian sprinter who has similar prosthetics.

How did the Olympian react? He accused the Brazilian of cheating. He said the Brazilian's fake legs gave him an "unfair advantage."

It's kind of funny. I said the same thing when the original guy that was running in the Olympics in the first place. Back then, no one else was willing to point fingers at the "handicapped guy" having an unfair artificial advantage.

Well now the shoe is on the other foot.

So to speak.

Look for this controversy to get worse as prosthetics get better and better. Now everyone will have to admit that having no legs is actually an advantage in sprint races.

  1. Just so he wasn't taking any PEDS. That's the thing that really matters.
