With another super pitching performance by one of the Twins young starters, the Twins went on to shutout Cleveland last night. They also had just enough offense to make the game worth watching.
Cole is on an inside track to be one of the Twins starters next season. The best part wasn't his good innings, no, the best part was those first two shaky innings where he still kept Cleveland from scoring.
Willingham now has 102 RBI to go with his 33 homeruns. This guy is having a monster season. If the Twins were a winning ball club, he'd be getting some MVP consideration.
