The television show "24" just keeps getting better and better. I switched to the Twins during commercial breaks last night, knowing they'd end up losing 1-0. (Cynical, wiser, older me knows such things, remember.)
But the ending to last night's 24 was unbelievable. I realize why so many people aren't attracted to sports, and why those who are, gradually fall away. Scripted dramas can make you go, "Wow!" so more often then sports.
Last night was a "wow" night for scripted drama.
The Twins merely lost 1-0, the absolute worst way to lose a baseball game. My enthusiasm going into this past weekend now on life support.
BUT I can't wait for 24 next Monday night.
