With the season not quite half over, Jose Abreu hit hit 24th and 25th home runs of the season last night for the White Sox. That ties him for the major league lead AND puts him on pace to break Mark McGwire's rookie homerun record which stands at 49.
He's a little old for a rookie at age 27, but that's what happens when you spend most of your adult life trying to leave Cuba.
