Streaks are an important part of any season. Teams with multiple long winning streaks are usually the best. Two such teams as of late are the Detroit Tigers and the California Angels of Upper and Northern Anneheim, East Hollywood, and Lower Southwest Los Angeles. The Tigers are currently on a seven game win streak. The Angels on a six game one of their own.
That combo has been deadly to the Twins standings in the last few days who have now lost three straight in a streak of their own. They currently are eight games behind in the division becoming more like the team we all imagined they would be.
Streaks also influence fan interest.
The Twins are currently dead to me.
