And it got worse as the game progressed. The final was 14-5.
On the brighter side (maybe) The Twins signed free agent first baseman Kedrys Morales to possibly add some pop to their lineup. They waited until now as not to lose any draft picks by signing him.
Kedrys is with a big league club as he is out of options so they can't send him to the minors for a couple weeks to get in playing shape.
The Twins record so far this year is good enough to possibly compete for a playoff spot and they figure Morales will help them at DH while spotting Mauer an occasional day off.
We already have lots of DH guys so I don't know how this will affect the rest of the roster yet.
We'll all find out together I guess.
