DUI of the Day

I hate listing two of these in one day, but It makes my point even more valid. DUIs are so common in pro sports that even I don't list them all any more. Yesterday, Marshawn  Lynch of the Seahawks apologized for his DUI last weekend.

He's considered a role model and that's just part of the problem. I'm glad he's sorry for what he's done, but there should be a penalty other than embarrassment when players drive drunk. These guys are looked up to. The league knows this. If they would treat the crime seriously they could show people there are consequences to threatening other people's lives.
