For an average team, they sure have playing entertaining ball lately.
Denard Span made some great catches on defense and the Twins ended up winning it on a walk-off sacrifice fly 7-6.
Even Danny Valencia is making himself noticed again now that he's back on the roster. His three hits and two RBIs kept the Twins in the battle all night.
The Twins actually LEAD the American League in scoring for the month of July and have scored 96 runs in their last 14 home games.
All I ask at this point is that they entertain me. That's just what they're doing. Maybe they'll move up a little bit in the standings, too.
Liriano makes his White Sox debut tonight against his old mates. Should be interesting.
