The NBA has a serious problem on its hands. While the Heat and its fans are the celebrating a blowout victory over the Pacers last night, most of America was shocked by how absolutely brutal the fouls were.
This is not the rep the league needs right now. Fines and suspensions should be imminent.
At least I hope they are. Clubbing fouls ruled the game last night with no pretense of defense. That's as bush league as it gets. The Heat is one of the league's premium teams, the NBA cannot allow their showcase games to be played this way.
It was a huge turnoff and detracted from the Heat's huge romp.
